Violin Instruction

I’ve just bought a violin and I really want to be able to play it well, but I don’t have the time and resources to go for a violin class. I did have a few years of music class behind me, and I am about Grade 3 in piano and I can play a bit of guitar (not much, just some chords and simple techniques). If it’s possible, then what are the first things and techniques I have to learn about playing violin?

I already have a pretty diverse musical background, including 10 years of competitive piano, jazz trumpet, and marching baritone. Ive even bugled in a military school. However, I’ve never even picked up a string instrument in my life, how hard will it be to learn violin?

Do you also know websites where you can go to for some music/notes/pieces to play on the violin?

She has a standard small violin. I am trying to learn slowly as well, so I can relate a little when I help her practice. What could I start with? I live in a small town where there’s really nobody around for violin lessons. Any advice people?

I love the violin because it has such a sweet sound. Some say you need a "musical ear" for it.

What are the most affordable options?

I have been playing the violin for a year and a month now and i am in an orchestra but i need to learn vibrato and i just can’t do it!!!

I wanted to play an instrument since I was a child but I never got the time and chance to start it , now I’m 18 and finally have the chance but I don’t know what to play . I love violin but everyone tells me it’s too late for me to learn and I can’t make it .
Please help me decide , I really wanna do that .

I already play piano (been playing for 11 years) and the ukulele. Want to learn a new instrument and I love the sound of the violin. The cost of monthly lessons is more than I care to pay, so how hard would it be to learn on my own? As in using internet resources and books (which is how I learned guitar and ukulele). Thanks!
